OBP Business Growth Director Richard Fordyce to Be Keynote Speaker

Richard Fordyce, business growth director at OBP, will be a keynote speaker at the fourth annual WAVE Ag Day on July 22, 2021, in Hickman, Kentucky. WAVE (West Kentucky Alliance for a Vibrant Economy) is an initiative led by neighboring counties located at the junction of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. This initiative focuses on the important role agriculture plays in economic development and expands its mission to neighboring states including Illinois, Missouri and Tennessee.

The festivities kick off with a farmer appreciation breakfast at 7:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9 a.m. Additional speakers include Tony Brannon, Murray State University Hutson School of Agriculture; Ryan Quarles, Kentucky agriculture commissioner; and Brian Lacefield, Kentucky Office of Agriculture Policy executive director.
