United Soybean Board + OBP Take Home the Gold
Creative storytelling earns USB + OBP two prestigious awards.
There’s a new story to tell in soybeans, and it’s not what you’d expect.
Soybeans are now being used in all sorts of markets and products from asphalt to plastics to useful tools for astronauts in space. But telling this complex story can be challenging – there’s a lot to cover.
In partnership with the United Soybean Board, OBP developed several campaigns to show the manufacturing industry what this little bean can do. We are excited to share that our work with United Soybean Board was recognized by the Agriculture Relations Council with a Golden ARC Award for outstanding public relations for the release, “The House that Soy Built,” which highlighted the significant opportunities for utilizing soybean oil in the lucrative home improvement industry and capitalized on current product success in items such as Rust-Oleum paints and lubricants.
We also earned a Merit award for the video “Just Keep Watching US,” which was a rally call for soybean farmers in down market times that touches on each and every successful market created and developed for U.S. soybeans. This video was used on the megatrons at Commodity Classic – the crop industry’s largest trade show – and in a digital campaign.
