AI Engineer Intern

Marketing Technology Internship Remote

OBP Summer 2026 Internship Program

Build the Future of Influence

At OBP, we don’t just create work — we shape decisions, spark action, and influence outcomes. AI is changing how that work gets done, and we’re building the tools, systems, and workflows that put our agency at the leading edge.

Our Summer 2026 Internship Program is built for those ready to build alongside us.

We’re looking for a curious, technically-minded self-starter who’s excited to engineer real AI applications — not just experiment with chatbots. You’ll write production code, integrate APIs, and ship tools that creative, media, and strategy teams actually use.

Program Details

  • June 1 – August 7, 2026
  • Paid: $18/hour
  • Hands-on, cross-functional engineering experience

You’ll be embedded in OBP’s marketing technology team, contributing to internal AI tooling and client-facing applications while learning how an agency turns AI capability into business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and ship features for real AI applications using Python, FastAPI, and modern LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI)
  • Develop multi-model orchestration logic, prompt pipelines, and retrieval-augmented workflows
  • Integrate AI tools with platforms agency teams use every day (Google Drive, Productive.io, internal data sources)
  • Collaborate on a cross-functional group project alongside creative, strategy, and media interns
  • Receive mentorship and direct feedback from OBP’s marketing technology leadership
  • Present your work to agency leadership at the end of the program

What We’re Looking For

  • Working knowledge of Python and comfort with REST APIs
  • Exposure to LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) — coursework, side projects, or hackathons all count
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and a willingness to work in a real codebase
  • Strong written communication — you can explain what you built and why
  • Bonus: experience with FastAPI, vector databases, prompt engineering, or front-end frameworks (React/Next.js)
